Changchun Gas Co., Ltd. saw half-year profit double

Shanghai. August 19. INTERFAX-CHINA - Shanghai-listed Changchun Gas Co., Ltd. reported 1H 2002 net profits of RMB 45.465 mln (USD 5.491 mln), rising 90.77% year-on-year. The company has seen its piped gas end-users grow by 14,000 resident homes in the period.

Operating profits rose 73.73%, to RMB 77.016 mln (USD 9.301 mln) as of June 30, and operating revenue is up 28.4%, to RMB 232.715 mln (USD 28.106 mln).

In the second half, the company will develop another 20,000 home gas-users, ...
