CIS representatives hold consultations on UNO activities

CIS representatives have held consultations at the Russian Foreign Ministry on the UNO activities prior to the forthcoming 57th session of the UNO General Assembly.

Interfax learned on Tuesday from the Ministry's information and press department, the conference showed that the standpoints of the CIS countries on the priority directions of the UNO activities coincide. All the states are interested in strengthening the major role of the UNO in international affairs.
