Aug. 21--Federal agents have seized more than 60 tons of illegally imported Chilean sea bass at New England ports over the last five months, reflecting the growing problem of pirate fishing in an industry that ships its cargo all over the world.
The flaky white fish, which lives in the ice cold waters off Antarctica, has become a darling of restaurant chefs in the last decade, and the demand has led to overfishing in some of the world's most difficult to police waters.
