Prague August 22 INTERFAX EUROPE -As the Czech Republic continues to bail out from the catastrophic floods of last week, damage estimates from various sectors continue to pour in. Cultural monuments - from churches to theaters to libraries - for which the country is so famous, were not spared by the floodwaters either. As the waters recede, experts are busy trying to put a value on damage to various cultural monuments that many would say are priceless.
The Czech Culture Ministry's preliminary estimate for damage to cultural monuments stands at a minimum of CZK 2.3 bn. That figure only ...
