Aug. 23--National Car Rental Center, the unwieldy moniker for the Sunrise arena that's home to the Florida Panthers, may soon bear the name of an office-supply chain.
Delray Beach-based Office Depot has entered into a letter of intent to put its name on the approximately 20,000-square-foot arena, according to Jeff Cogen, the Panthers' chief operating officer.
Naming rights for the arena were put up for grabs Thursday when a Delaware bankruptcy judge approved a request by National Car Rental Systems's parent -- Fort Lauderdale-based ANC Rental Corp. -- to reject the ...
