COLUMBIA, S.C. _ Anne Clarkson loves "Xena: Warrior Princess," but her connection to the show doesn't end when she turns off the TV.
She sits down in front of her computer and creates new worlds for Xena and the show's other characters.
Clarkson, 43, is one of the thousands of people online who have embraced the Internet world of fan fiction.
Typing the words "fan fiction" into the Google search engine brings up 582,000 hits. Look around and you'll find fans writing stories, poems and scripts that further the adventures of their favorite TV or movie characters. _ There are also sites that describe the history of fan fiction, discuss issues ...
