Governor Gray Davis today celebrated the official kick-off of "California Grown," a new statewide advertising campaign designed to increase the awareness and consumption of California agricultural products.
"`California Grown' will remind the world that we have the best farms, ranches, produce and products on God's green Earth," Gov. Davis said. "Our agriculture industry is the engine that keeps our economy humming. We are securing our future by encouraging Californians to `Buy California.'"
