Unrest in Gabon Threatens Little Impact on U.S. Crude Oil Supplies
THE DISRUPTION to oil output and exports from riot-torn Gabon could make some small impact on the relatively tight market in light West African crudes mostly destined for the United States, according to The Oil Daily Energy Compass.
The situation in Gabon was fluid on Wednesday, although activities appear to be returning to normal. Solving port problems, rather than restoring physical output may now be the key to an early resumption of normal overseas sales.
