Aug. 26--Jack Collins is president of Fleet Bank New Jersey, which includes Fleet's banking operations throughout the Garden State and in eastern Pennsylvania. The former vice chairman of Summit Bancorp joined Fleet when it acquired Summit in March 2001. In an interview last week at Fleet New Jersey's headquarters in Princeton, he talked with The Record about Fleet's performance in its first year as New Jersey's top bank.
