Mark DeSimone: Like anything else, it really depends on the equipment used and the commitment of the supermarket to be a full service provider. Gretag equipment, for example, is the smallest footprint of any imaging equipment provider, with a complete digital mini-lab occupying less than 15 square feet. This means that a full-service, in-store photo lab can occupy an area as small as 10 feet by 10 feet, including the counter.
