Twenty-five theatres have been selected to participate in the second round of the New Generations Program, a grant initiative cooperatively designed by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and TCG. In the first two rounds of the program, a total of $3.4 million in two-year grants was awarded to 52 theatres in support of two separate objectives: Mentoring the Leaders of Tomorrow, which aims to cultivate and strengthen a new generation of theatre leadership through mentorships with accomplished theatre practitioners, and Cultivating the Audiences of Tomorrow, which seeks to expand and bolster existing audience-development programs that have ...
