DETROIT -- In 1,265 days, Detroit will host 800 million viewers and 120,000 visitors in its "living room" for Super Bowl XL. And today at Ford Field in Detroit, the Detroit Super Bowl XL Host Committee was introduced as the team who will make it happen.

The 39-member Detroit Super Bowl XL Host Committee, comprised of star players in Detroit's corporate, civic and government organizations and led by Chairman Roger S. Penske, will serve as the official liaison between the National Football League (NFL) and the metro Detroit community to prepare for Super Bowl XL on Feb. 5, 2006.
