SACRAMENTO -- After an unveiling ceremony hosted by Gov. Gray Davis at the California State Fair in Sacramento, California Grown -- a $35 million promotional campaign for the future of California agriculture -- continues to grow with the launch of its statewide television campaign.
Administered by the Buy California Marketing Agreement, a partnership between 20 agricultural organizations and the California Department of Food & Agriculture (CDFA), California Grown is designed to increase demand for California agricultural products among consumers -- from produce, meats and fish to nuts, wine and wood products.
