Audi inaugurates EUR 135 million engine plant

Gyor. August 29. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Audi Hungaria Motor Kft inaugurated its new engine plant, constructed with a EUR 135 million investment, in Gyor (northwest Hungary) on Thursday. The plant will produce Audi's new eight-cylinder engines, boosting the Hungarian subsidiary's capacity in these engines from 100 to 250 units a day, said Audi AG chairman Martin Winterkorn.
