This summer, Cicero Baptist Church moved to a new location in Penn Can Mall and has set up "shop" next to Charter Bank and Office Max.
"The new meeting place which God has provided for CBC can only be described as wonderful!" said the Rev. Karl Novak, pastor.
The two-year-old church, which began with nine people in July 2000, has grown to about 40 members and attendees. Previously, the church was meeting in the Dance Arts Studio on Route 11.
"Our previous location, though we were certainly thankful for it, was cramped and dark, while the new Penn Can Mall location is very spacious and bright," said Novak.
