Aug. 31--MACON, Ga. -- Eileen LaFavor has never performed a wedding ceremony. But ultimately, she determines which Bibb County lovebirds tie the knot.
LaFavor, chief deputy clerk of Bibb County's marriage license division, has spent 28 years helping couples who follow the arrow for "marriage and gun licenses" in the Bibb County Courthouse. Some people have bought both at once, perhaps not the best sign.
Monday, budding musicians Wendy Rogers and Jeffrey Williams picked up their license before visiting the justice of the peace.
