EVER since I was eight years old, I've wanted to go to a bullfight - ever since the Barcelona bullring was flooded by rain on a family holiday in the Sixties, rendering my ticket useless and breaking my little heart.
Now that I'm (fractionally more) grown up and have small children of my own, the question arises: in these days of changing attitudes, should I take my own kids to a Spanish bullfight? Or are they too young and impressionable to learn where steak comes from?
