Flushing Meadows, NY (Sports Network) - Pete Sampras and Andy Roddick posted fourth-round victories Tuesday at the U.S. Open, setting up a quarterfinal meeting between the Americans.

No. 17 Sampras downed third-seeded German Tommy Haas, 7-5, 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 7-5, while 11th seed Roddick earned a 5-7, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 win over Argentine Juan Ignacio Chela.
