Senate sits on liability reform
The threat of product liability continues to extract its toll from America's manufacturing prowess even as pressure to enact a federal legislative solution grows. The latest effort to push for relief came at the Chicago Machine Tool Show, where more than 6000 visitors took time to reach out to their senators to promote the passage of S.1400, the Product Liability Reform Act. It has passed through committee and is awaiting a full Senate vote.
