Article: East Boston Man Sentenced For Bank Robbery, Reports U.S. Attorney.

BOSTON -- An East Boston man was sentenced today in federal court for bank robbery.

United States Attorney Michael J. Sullivan, and Charles S. Prouty, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in New England and Paul F. Evans, Commissioner of the Boston Police Department, announced today that STEVEN C. FERNANDES, JR., a/k/a Michael C. Rapoza, age 24, formerly of 11 Thurston Street, East Boston, Massachusetts, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Reginald C. Lindsay to 5 years and 10 months' imprisonment, to be followed by 3 years of supervised release. FERNANDES was also ordered to pay restitution to BankBoston.
