Western Australian wine producer Evans & Tate has indicated it may revise the price offered for New South Wales-based Cranswick Premium Wines. The potential revision follows concerns of a lower-than-expected 2002 full-year result for Cranswick Premium Wines. The New South Wales wine producer has flagged a full-year loss of about $A23m for 2001-02. Cranswick Premium Wines has indicated the inclusion of a $A10m write-down, which has been attributed to an Australia-wide glut of red wine.
