SYDNEY, Sept 4 Asia Pulse - Cleaning and security group Tempo Services Ltd (ASX:TEM) is on schedule to record double-digit organic growth in its core businesses this year, while remaining on the lookout for acquisitions.
Tempo's executive chairman John Schaeffer made the forecast after the group reported a 22 per cent leap in net profit to $A11.608 million ($US6.32 million) for the year to June 30, 2002, compared to $A9.5 million ($US5.17 million) in 2000/01.
Revenues surged 33.1 per cent to $A632.1 million ($US344.18 million), despite Tempo having lost a major security and cleaning contract when Ansett Airlines collapsed during the year.
