Over the last 12 months, all of the major players in the laundry detergent market have been releasing laundry detergent products that have done away with the traditional measuring cup. Lion were the first releasing their "Top Powder Tablet" (Price: 16 tablets = 500 yen). The individually packaged tablets had the additional advantage of eliminating spillage.
P&G Far East were soon to follow with the release of their "Cube Shaped Ariel" (Price: 16 cubes = The price has been left open) in October of 2000.
