Sept. 6, 2002--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it had assigned its preliminary triple-'A' ratings to PRIMUS Japan Funding 02 TMK's JPY41.4 billion auto-loan backed fixed-rate notes, classes A and B due December 2007.

The notes are ultimately backed by a pool of auto loans originated by PRIMUS Financial Services Inc.

The ratings address the full and timely payment of monthly interest and the ultimate full repayment of principal by the legal final maturity of December 2007. The preliminary ratings are based on information as of September 6, 2002. Subsequent ...
