FleetBoston Financial Corp. announced that it has signed leases for two full-service branch locations in Manhattan, one near Penn Station and the second near Columbus Circle, as well as sites for two remote ATM centers.
Fleet's 10-year lease for the Three Herald Center site at 33rd and 6th Avenue is a 5,300-SF storefront location that will be converted to a branch office by late November. Adjacent to Macy's, the space was previously a portion of the former Toys R Us store.
The second site at 1775 Broadway at 57th Street is a 3,200-SF space that will be renovated for branch use by late December. The site was previously occupied by Coliseum Books. Fleet ...
