McDONNELL DOUGLAS DELIVERS FINAL F/A-18 HORNET

TO ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE

ST. LOUIS, June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Australia's largest peacetime defense purchase in history was completed on schedule and within budget when the 75th and final Australian F/A-18 Hornet was delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) last month, according to McDonnell Douglas (NYSE: MD).

Australian Minister for Defense Robert Ray accepted the historic Hornet during a ceremony at Australia's Fairbairn air base on May 16.
