SAN DIEGO -- The Waitt Family Foundation, a major contributor in San Diego, announced today the creation of the "San Diego Community Building Partnership", a program intended to encourage and support new and existing resident-led community building efforts in the County.
As part of this program, the Foundation plans to partner with three to five non-profit organizations this year, using a combination of financial support, collaborative relationships and mentoring to help build and strengthen these groups. The Waitt Family Foundation expects to invest approximately $250,000 in the communities.
