Matrix Semiconductor Inc. (www.matrixsemi.com), Santa Clara, Calif., recently announced a new, one-time-use, "consumable" memory card for digital cameras and other digital devices.

The write-once media can provide a permanent "digital negative" for photographers, and can be produced in any format for digital cameras that accept memory card storage. The product will also help computer users to keep from cluttering their computer hard drives with archived digital images not in active use.
