ALMATY. Sept 6 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - International human rights organizations have urged the Kazakh authorities not to extradite opposition figure Gulgeldy Annaniyazov to Turkmenistan. Annaniyazov had previously fled from Turkmenistan

"Former political prisoner Gulgeldy Annaniyazov faces the threat of being forcefully deported to Turkmenistan, where he is in danger of being tortured," says an Amnesty International statement circulated in Almaty on Friday.
