NEW YORK -- Hush Puppies doesn't like playing follow the leader.

That is why the brand is coming to WSA this week armed with an expanded, more modern HP 360 line and other upgrades to its casual collections; it will also show off its first major consumer advertising campaign since 1998, said Skip Zimmerman, brand president.

Both initiatives are the latest products of a major overhaul in Hush Puppies' U.S. business that Zimmerman has been shepherding since he assumed leadership in November 2001.
