With a bruise on his forehead, former Reds David Wells, 39, returned to Yankee Stadium on Sunday and said he's ready to make his next start after recovering from an early-morning attack at a diner. Wells was punched in the head and lost two teeth when confronted by a man waving a butter knife at a restaurant about 5:50 a.m. Saturday, police said.
