Madison County: more rural than most imagine
Quick. Think Madison County. What comes to mind? County Line Road, Northpark Mall? Northbay? The reservoir?
Why not cattle, hogs, cotton, or soybeans?
While the southern part of Madison County is busy developing into a booming urban area, much of the county remains rural with life centered around small-town life in Canton, the county seat, or Flora, tucked off on Hwy. 49 in the southwestern corner of the county.
