I never thought I'd see an article on a pet problem in the Wall Street Journal, but there it was on the front page of the July 31, 2002, Marketplace section.
In an article titled, "Are Annual Shots Overkill?" Rhonda Rundle covered the ongoing controversy about whether yearly vaccinations are protecting or hurting our pets. I was glad to see this pet health problem hit the big time.
The controversy centers around these questions: Are annual vaccinations actually harmful to our animals? Do our pets need yearly vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and parvo to maintain their immunity or does their immunity last for years after a ...
