PARIS -- Standard & Poor's, a leading provider of global indices and benchmarks, has appointed Eudald Canadell as Managing Director as part of an aggressive plan to penetrate further the European index market. Mr. Canadell will direct this effort from new offices in Paris and will oversee continuing index operations located in London.
