Owen leaves Business Journal to join new subsidiary of TCS

Ted Owen has resigned as president and publisher of the San Diego Business Journal to join a new, wholly owned subsidiary of locally based TCS Enterprises Inc.

Owen will leave the paper April 6 but will continue as a consultant for the next 90 days, said CBJ Inc. President Larry Bridges, owner of the San Diego Business Journal.

The turnaround of the Business Journal. has been dramatic in the past 30 months, Bridges said.

Owen will become president of TCS Publishing Inc., the newest unit of TCS Enterprises. Founded in 1983 by Tom Stickel - a longtime associate of Owen - TCS ...
