Mobile phone sales in China to reach 62.7 mln units this year - BDA China
Shanghai. September 11. INTERFAX-CHINA - Despite shrinking Chinese telecom capital expenditure, growth in the mobile handset market is expected to continue as new users join the network and the replacement market begins to mature, predicted BDA China, a telecom and technology strategy consulting and research firm, in its latest report "China's Mobile Handset Market: Attack of the Clones?". The company also forecasts Chinese mobile phone sales will reach 62.7 mln this year, up from the 50.1 mln handsets sold in 2001.
