Sep. 10--Dealers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East were hit by a mysterious glitch on their Reuters 2000 and 3000 screens for three-and-a-half hours today, leaving them "blind". Reuters shares, meanwhile, slipped 4 1/2 pence to 260 1/2 pence.
If they had been able to watch, dealers would have seen insurers were under pressure again as Legal & General made its move to raise UKpound 786 million via an underwritten rights issue.
