ADVISOR REALITY CHECK
It isn't enough to gather data that only the IT staff can interpret and leverage. Corporate management, outside of the IT department, also must be able to view system data in a way that lets them assess its overall business impact. The ability to gather critical system data, and its impact on application performance, as well as to communicate with the business audiences is critical if you want to break down barriers between the IT and general business departments.
