Original, groundbreaking television shows are few and far between and usually on premium cable. In this case, viewers are "treated" to WB's remake of the sitcom "Family Affair," tonight at 8 on WLVI (Ch. 56).
The one-hour premiere doesn't stray far from the original, which ran from 1966 to 1971 on CBS. It even uses a similar theme song and canned laugh track.
