Essig, MS, ELS, senior medical writer - Combining laser excision of recurring respiratory papilloma tumors with injection of mumps vaccine into the excision site increased remission rate of recurrent respiratory papilloma (RRP) in children and adults.
Nigel R. T. Pashley, at Presbyterian/St Luke's Hospital in Denver, conducted studies on two groups of patients with RRP to determine if adding adjuvant therapy to laser removal of papilloma tumors would increase remission rate.
