TOKYO, Sept 12 Asia Pulse - Daihatsu Motor Co. (TSE:7262) has decided to equip its minicars with side-curtain airbags, which help protect the head and neck in the event of a collision.
Side-curtain airbags are most effective in side-impact collisions, protecting the vehicle occupants' head and neck region from flying glass, or impact with the window area of the car.
