Vending Machine Cuisine Has Improved, But Still Calls for Caution
Vending machines are regarded as little more than time-saving purveyors of junk food. But, mid-afternoon snack attacks, extended hours in the office and delayed train and airline schedules can cause even the most nutrition conscious among us to swap nickels and dimes for vending machine cuisine. While occasionally indulging in vending food fare probably won't shatter efforts to reduce calories, fat, cholesterol and sodium, choices should be made carefully.
