PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -- The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, owners and operators of the famed Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs since 1995, will begin construction on a new $90 million, 119,000-square-foot casino in December 2002. According to Richard M. Milanovich, chairman of the Tribal Council, completion of the new Spa Casino is targeted for November 2003, and will replace the existing Spa Casino operation.
