A cost of ownership model has been developed for laser trimming of resistors printed on large format organic substrate panels. This model has been used to demonstrate the cost effectiveness of the trim process in a production environment.
The increased need for smaller, faster, and cheaper electronics has led the microelectronics industry to explore a number of new enabling technologies.
