PORT IS NOT USUALLY a wine that comes to mind in the heat of summer, but then the wine labeled as Churchill's White Port (about $19) is not a usual wine.
In fact, a good argument could be made that this unique, delicious, food-friendly wine is not a white port at all. But this shouldn't surprise anyone familiar with the firm of Churchill's.
