For those who haven't tried it, the idea of venison stalking or serious trophy deer hunting with a handgun may seem to require skill, discipline and equipment beyond their means. Or it may just seem like a rather crazy idea in the first place. Handgun hunters, however, know that what they do is no different than any other kind of hunting; it doesn't take exceedingly greater shooting skill than other hunting styles, nor does it require complex equipment, and the practice and discipline required is the same as for any good rifle, shotgun or bowhunter.
