MANY OREGONIANS believe that abortion should be legal early in a woman's pregnancy and in some difficult cases. However, in Oregon abortion is legal for the entire nine months of pregnancy and for any reason. In fact, a girl as young as 15 can find out she is pregnant and within the same day obtain an abortion without even one of her parents being notified. Many Oregonians think this abortion policy is extreme: Planned Parenthood does not.
