The University of Oregon women's soccer team dropped its home opener on Friday, falling 1-0 to Gonzaga in front of 501 fans in the first night game at Pape Field.
Heidi Jacobson won the game for the Bulldogs in the second half after taking a pass from Annie Hawkins and converting at the 48:28 mark.
Hawkins gained possession midstride and pushed upfield 15 yards, then passed ahead to Jacobson, who dribbled another 15 yards toward the center edge of the box.
