Sandi Anderson's Salon Dore, a full-service hair styling salon, is the second business to open its doors at the former Deaconess hospital at 300 Okanogan Ave., Wenatchee.

The 850-square-foot salon, which opened Sept. 2, joins First Choice Pregnancy Center, which opened in May. Several other businesses are in the process of making the former hospital home.

The Deaconess is owned by Will Aldridge, who purchased the building for $1 in early 1999 and embarked on a $4 million project to renovate the building.
