Sep. 17--PROVIDENCE, R.I.--Two weeks on the job, and already Jerry Schaufeld's brain is spinning faster than a hamster on a wheel.
Schaufeld, named the new director of the Samuel Slater Technology Fund on Sept. 3, began formulating a growth strategy for the $2.5 million program even before his job officially started.
